SERIOUS BURNS.

EARLY MORNING FIRE. Per Press Association. TE KUITI, Dec. 7. After being burned in a fire in her home at Kaeaea, near Aria, last night, Mrs Emily Parkes, the wife, of Mr P. S.’ Parkes, was'.admitted to. hospital in the early hours of this morning dangerously ill. The hovise caught fire last night when her husband was away, and Mrs Parkes and her three children escaped in their night attire. The four made their way to a neighbour’s house, and Mrs , Parkes was brought into the Te Kuiti Hospital. There has been no change in her condition since her arrival.
