Piercey, the infant mistress, and Miss E. Sinclair, the probationary assistant,” stated the headmaster of the school (Mr F. C. Campbell) in his report to the committee last evening. “I desire to place on record my sincere appreciation of the splendid service both teachers have rendered to the school. During Miss Piercey’s eight years’ association with it she has been most- helpful in the many activities connected with the working of a city school. I am certain that her loss will be greatly felt. Miss Sinclair stands on the threshold of her professional career. I have seen sufficient of her work to-convince me that she has a bright future.” It was decided to write thanking Miss Sinclair for her services during the past year.
