CANADIAN COMPETITORS. MONTREAL, Dec. 7. The Canadian track and field team for the Empire Games will be as follows : Pat Haley, 100 yards, high jump, and 440 yfirds relay; Sigurd Nelson and Jack (Brown, both 100 yards and 220 yards and 440 yards relay; Larry O’Connor, 220 yards , and 120 yards hurdles and 440 yards relay; John Loaring, 440 yards and 440 yards hurdles, and mile relay; Bill Fritz and Jack Orr, both 440 yards and mile relay; Max Lenover and Bill Dale, both 880 yards aiid mi> relay; Art Clarke, mile and steeplechase ; Scotty Rankine and Milt Wallace, both three miles and six miles.
Joe Haley, high jump ; Jim Panton, broad and high jumps ; Wallace Brown, broad jump and hop, step, and jump ; George Sutherland, hammer shot; Eric Coy, discus throw; Jim Courtright, javelin throw; Stuart Frid, pole vault; James Bartlett, Lloyd Longman, and Walter Young, all marathon.
