ASSETS IN SPAIN.
CASES OP INTERFERENCE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 6. Questioned in the House of Commons, the Foreign Secretary (Mr 11. A. Eden) said there had been a very large number of cases of interference with the assets of British companies in Spain. . In addition to representations made by Britain to the Spanish authorities in specific terms, protests in general terms against the Catalan collectivisation decree had been made several times, but so far there had been no satisfactory settlement. The Foreign Secretary, questioned in the House, confirmed that the Duke of Alba 'and Berwick had been appointed by General Franco to be his agent in Britain.
