BRITISH VISITORS.
FAITH IN GOVERNMENT. MADRID, Dec. 7. “When we return to London we shall convene a public meeting to acquaint the British people of the real situation in unbeaten and invincible Republican Spain,’’ declared the Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons (Mr C. R. Attlee), in a speech at the Madrid Municipality reception in honour of the visitors. He added that anyone believing that the cause of the Spanish Republic was lost was either badly informed or of bad faith. ’
*‘Our whole attitude henceforth will be based on our conviction of a final victory for the Spanish Government, said Mr Attlee.
