ASSISTANCE IN CURE. / ANGLO-AMERICAN TREATY. BRITISH POINT OF VIEW. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph'—Copyright.) Received December 7, 10.0 a.m. LONDON, Dec. s 6. All- Alalcolm MacDonald (Secretary for the Dominions), addressing the British Empire League, said that Britain was most anxious to complete the Anglo-American trade treaty, believing that it would assist in curing the world’s economic malaise, but would keep in closest touch with the Dominions and other parts of the Empire concerned at every stage of the negotiations. There was no question oi the abandonment of the principle or practice of Imperial preference.
