Adams, brot!’oV °f x| >- J. Adams, oh’Otaki, is at prosent seriously ill fin .the' Wellington Hospital. Mr J. Devonshire, brother, of Mrs H. Taylor, is .in. the Palmerston . North Hospital suffering from a -broken log. Some 40 children arrived (at the Otaki Health Camp ,‘on Tuesday; atid another 50 to-day. ■• ' • - ’ Successful Sunday School anniversary celebrations were held ,by the Otaki Methodist' Church on Sunday and Mondav The preacher at the ~ morning , and evening services on Sunday was Rev. H. Whitfie.d, of Paraparaumu/ and the children sang special hynms, under the baton of Mr W. Nelson, with Miss Hope Dixon at the organ. On Monday evening " Rev. J; R. Nelson presided over a good attendance at tho anniversary social and prizegiving when tho children repeated some of their anniversary hymns.
