DRAINAGE SCHEME INQUIRY.-Final details in the formulation of the Auckland metropolitan drainage scheme are to be settled through the findings of a special Government Commission which opened its sittings in Auckland The Commission will fix the boundary of the metropolitan district, will make such alterations in the constitution of the present board as are required and will allocate the costs of the scheme and its operations to the various local bodies concerned.
