TAIKOREA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TIAKOREA, Nov. 22.
The ruin last week was welcome but the heavy winds which followed undid a certain amount of the good it accomplished. The Taikorca School was granted a full holiday on Monday to enable the children to attend tho Jubilee celebrations at Palmerston ■ North. On Thursday evening the School Committee met . Mr Print congratulated Miss Wills (teacher) on tho inspector’s report which was excellent. A breaking-up evening is to bo held as in other years tho children supplying some itoms, the chief event being tho visit of Father Christmas. Mrs M. Turner, of Palmerston North, paid a short visit to her daughter, Mm Castle, la-st work. Mr K. Hill is home from his holiday. Mr A. Whitmore, of Huntervillc, spent the week-end with Mr and Mrs Eichler. The local dairy factory is making .36 cheeses daily.
