THOROUGHBRED SALE.
TE RAPA OFFERING. Eight thoroughbred horses were offered at Te Rapa, this week, only two being sold. Tho brood mare, Lady Una, stinted to Raceful, was secured by Mrs W. Gill, of Te Aroha, for 25gns., while a yearling gelding, by Bronze Eagle from Lady Una, was bought by Mr W. Gill, of Whangamomona, for 44gns. Both lots were sold on behalf of Mr W. R. Shattock. Among the lots passed in were Philemup, Mangatoon, and Frisldand, which failed to reach the vendor’s reserve.
