(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Nov. 24.
Airs Colin Grant. Patea, is on a visit to Otaki. Miss E. Oldbury-Jonos was among the passengers who left recently from Southampton. Air AI. Adams, brother of Mr J. Adams, of Otaki, is at present seriously ill in the AVcllington Hospital. Mr J. Devonshire, brother of Mrs H. Taylor, is in the Palmerston North Hospital suffering from a broken log. Somo 40 children arrived at the Otaki Health Camp on Tuesday and another 50 to-day. Successful Sunday School anniversary celebrations were held by tho Otaki Methodist Church on Sunday and Monday. The preacher at the morning and evening services on Sunday was Rev. H. A\ bitfield, of Paraparaumu, and tho children sang special hymns, under the baton of Air AV. Nelson, with Alias Hope Dixon at tho organ. On AJondav evening Rev. J. R. Nelson presided over a good attendance at the anniversary social and prizegiving when the children repented some of their anniversary hymns.
