NO ARMISTICE PROSPECTS. BARCELONA, Nov. 23. There will be no mediation and there is no prospect of an armistice in the Spanish conflict, according to a statement by the Press Department of the Council of Ministers. ‘ AGENTS APPOINTED. SALAMANCA, Nov. 23. It is officially announced that the Duke of Alba will be General Franco’s agent in Jxmdon. Sir Robert Hodgson is going to Salamanca as the British agent.
