DULL AND MISTY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The northern cyclone has deepened somewhat and is , now centred just north-west of Cape Maria Yan Diemen. A depression also covers the southern portion of the South Island. The forecast is for light to moderate but freshening north-east to northerly winds hacking to southerlies, after about 24 hours. The weather will be dull, and at times misty with general rain probable with some heavy falls. Seas slight to moderate but later increasing. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —2ft. Gin.
