OBITUARY.
MRS ELIZABETH SIGNAL. Mrs Elizabeth Signal, who passed away last week, was a‘pioneer of the Rangilikci, and had lived in this district for nearly 80 years. Born at the Halt in 1853, she came with her parents, Air and Mrs Robert Watson, six years later travelling along the beach in a bullock dray. Ihe family settled at Marten, and afterwards went to Onepuhi. Some 20 years later stye was married to Mr John Signal, anil went back to Marton. Rater on Mr and Mrs Signal carno to Bulls, where Air Signal w'lin engaged as a driver by Air Dan Coughlin, and subsequently bv Messrs Walker and Nolan. Air Signal died a few years ago. Two eons, Gilbert John, and Hamish Allen, both of Bulls; and three daughters, Airs Jackson (Bulls), All's Jenkins (Wellington), and Airs Alair (laihape), are 101 lto mourn their i loss, ns well as 11 grand-children and 3 great-grand-children. Amongst the many beautiful wreaths laid on the casket were floral tributes from members of the Bulls Returned Soldiers’ Association, and from the president of the Returned Soldiers Association. The pall-horrors were Messrs J. R. Walker A. V. Edwards, J. H. Ellery, N. Twort and G. D. Flower.—Bulls correspondent.
