GERMAN NAVY.
LARGE-SCALE EXPANSION. Received November 24, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 23. The German Naval Annual, according to Mr Hector Bywater, writing in the Daily Telegraph, reveals that when the present new construction is delivered Germany will have two battleships of 35,000 tons armed with 15-in. guns, two battleshijrs of 26,000 tons armed with 11-in. guns, three 10,000 ton “pocket” battleships armed with 11-in. guns, five 10,000-ton and eight 7000-ton cruisers, two aircraft carriers of 20,000 tons, 22 super and 30 smaller destroyers, and 61 submarines. , This programme conforms with the ratio provided in the London Naval Treaty.
