ENROLMENTS AT HOME. (British Official Wireless.) Received November 24, 11.10 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 23. Mr C. Hore-Belisha (Minister for War) informed the House of Commons that the strength of the Army reserves at September 1 was 123,30 l as compared with 115,000 in September, 1936- The supplementary' reserve also showed an increase. The intake of recruits for the London area last week was 88 as against 68 in the corresponding week last year. ■' THE TERRITORIAL ARMY. Received November 24, 11.20 a.m. , LONDON, Nov. 23. Further measures designed to recognise the full status of the, Territorial Army as an integral part pf the defence system were announced in the House of Commons by 'Mr Hore-Belisha. The changes include the provision for two Vacancies at the Staff College and one vacancy at the Imperial Defence College for the Territorial Army officers.
