EXTRAORDINARY DAY. Received November 24, 12.55 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 23. There lias seldom been a mor© extraordinary day on the Stock Exchange, which opened in the deepest gloom. The rises wiped out the initial losses, and in some cases, carried’ the shares above the over-night levels. Steadiness in metal and other commodities helped a more confident feeling. BETTER TENDENCY. ON FRENCH BOURSE. Received November 24 12.55 pan. PARIS, Nov. 23. A better tendency is apparent on the Bourse. French shares opened steadily and advanced throughout the day.
