(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Nov. 19. Mr Cranfield, who has, been seriously ill, shows ( a slight improvement. Mr A. Wilson, who is a patient at the Wellington Hospital and underwent an operation to his arm, is, reported to be doing well. The rainfall in Otaki on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning totalled ,78in. The fall for the past six months has been only 6iin. ""
