Weather conditions were ideal on Saturday nftornoon, whon a friendly form is match was played between Ashhurst and Whalcarongo teams on tho Ashhurst courts. The results were in favour of tho local team by 10 sets to 6. Scores: Men's Singles, J. Borrott beat L. Little 6—2. N. Brower beat F. Eagle 6—l, W. Brewer beat R. Meyer 6 —j. B. Williamson beat W. Bainbrldgo B—6;8 —6; women's singled, Miss K. Brower beat Miss E. Woodd 6—3, E, Eaton lost to Miss M. Christianson I—6, Miss G. Eaton lost to Miss C. Vantier 4—6, Mrs B, Williamson beat Mrs Sly 6—4;’mixed doubles, Borrett and Miss K Brewer lost to Little and Miss E. Woodd 4—6, N. Brower and Miss E. Eaton beat Eagle and Miss Christianson 6—2 W.
