WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. The northern anti-cyclone is now passing eastwards and a double depression is advancing across the south Tasman Sea. Pressure is rising again over TasmaniaForecast: Moderate to sharp northwesterly winds, reaching gale force in places. Weather fair at first, but with increasing cloud and later rain developing, more especially west of the ranges. Seas, rather rough to rough. RIVER GAUGE AT PALMERSTON NORTH, Noon. —4ft.
