CHILD KILLED.
FATALITY AT MARTON. Per Press Association. MARTON, Sept, 9. Barry Lloyd, aged 3i, son of Mr and Mrs E. M. Lloyd, Tutaemu Road, Marton, was killed instantly late this afternoon, when struck near his home by a. car driven by Mrs Esson, Christchurch, and owned by Mr C. H. M. Hawk,' Marton. It appears that the child ran suddenly across the Toad in front of the car.
