A WOODEN LUNG.
TORONTO, Aug. 27.
An engineer and carpenters at a hospital, racing against time, built a wooden lung and saved a four-year-old hoy who was fast sinking with infantile paralysis. Doctors were unable to obtain an iron lung immediately and ordered an improvisation that would function on the same principle.
