An anti-cyclone which crossed the Dominion during the week-end is now passing to the eastward, and since Sunday a deep cyclonic depression has been approaching northern New Zealand, its centre this morning being located north of Cape Maria van Diemen.
Forecast: Moderate to strong easterly or south-easterly winds, rising in places to gale force. Weather cloudy -o overcast and rain developing. Seas becoming rough. • • -*
