FRESH DELAY POSSIBLE. UNSATISFACTORY FORECAST. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-—Cop.vrigh t.) Received August 30, 2.10 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 29. Another postponement is threatened in the Louis-Farr heavyweight contest, due to a forecast of possible rain showers to-morrow. It is announced that if it rains it will be held on Tuesday. The promoters said the first postponement was increasing their receipts, but they fear a second one would decrease them due to loss of interest.
Louis rested all day, wifjji the exception of six miles’ road work. His trainer said be was in a weak condition. Farr also had a quiet day with only light exercises. His trainer said his pugnacious attitude had changed to one of calm determination. The odds are unchanged, but there is virtually no wagering.
