COMMISSAR POISONED.
EATING TINNED FOOD. Received August 30, 11.40 a.m. MOSCOW, Aug. 29. The body of Marshal Demid, Defence Commissar for Outer Mongolia, who died suddenly from poisoning in the, train at Tomsk while en route to Moscow, was cremated, and was accorded military honours. ‘ An expert eramination established poisoning by eating canned food. Three others in the party were poisoned but recovered.
