AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS.

Palgety and Co., Ltd., report that, a fair entry of sheep came forward at the Feilding sale yesterday. The hogget entry comprised mainly medium iines with an odd good quality, well-grown pen, and following the heavy rain overnight the appearance, generally, was against the sheep; however, there was steady competition for all lots, with a firm sale, slightly in favour of vendors. Fat sheep wore penned in heavier numbers, mainly fat ewes of good quality, and competition was good, but tho heavier supply cased the market a little. A nominal entry of beef came to hand with sound competition, the market showing a distinctly upward tendency. Tho dairy offering met with a sound sale for anything close to profit.
