FOXTON PROTEST.

CLOSING OF 2ZO.

The closing of the radio station 2ZO was referred to by Mr IT. D. Dawson at a meeting of the l'oxton Chamber of Commerce this week. Ho said that the people of Foxton and district would be lacking in their duty if they did not protest iigaiiiet the Government’s action in forcing station off the air. It was as good a station as there wan on the air today, and it was a shame that it should have to close down.

Mr 11. Christie said that as a B station it was second to none.

It wan decided to lend support, to the Palmerston North Chamber ot Commeice in protesting againnl, the cloning of the station.
