MANAW AT U COUNTY COUNCIL. OROUA DOWNS DRAINAGE RATE. 1937-38. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manawatu County Council at a meeting to be held at the County Offices, Sanson, on the 10th day of August, 1937, under the provisions of the “Rating Act, 1925, and' “The Counties _ Act, 1920,” to make and levy a Drainage Rate (on a uniform scale) or three farthings (2d) in the pound on the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Oroua Downs Special Rating District. Such Drainage Rate to be for a period of one year from the first day of April, 1937, to the thirty-first day of March, 1938, and shall become due and payable in one sum at the County Offices. Sanson, on Monday, the 23rd day of August, 1937. The Valuation Rolls and Rate Book are now open for inspection during offico hours. Dated at Sanson, 22nd July, 193/. A. K. DREW, i County Clerk. (2) A Hospital Rate of one halfpenny (id) in the pound on the Rateable Value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property Avithin the County of Manawatu.
