VATICAN CONCORDAT.
PANDEMONIUM IN BELGRADE. Received July 24. 1.50 p.m. BELGRADE, July 23. The Bill ratifying the Concordat with the Vatican will go to the Senate, but the Government may not command a majority there. The Ministry and the Opposition have mobilised every man in order to swell the vote. Many sick Deputies were conveyed to the House in chairs, including 51. Yanitch, who, after a bludgeoning by the police, rose from his sick-bed to participate in the debate as the sponsor of the Bill. Police with fixed bayonets prevented a demonstration in the streets. Pandemonium greeted the announcement of the vote. . Earlier details arc given on page 10.
