EIGHTH SUCCESSIVE WIN. SYDNEY, July 22. The New Zealand hockey team heat the Tweed Hockey Association team by 10 goals to one at Murwillumbah, after leading 6—o at half-time. For New Zealand the scorers were Houghton (5), Burtt (3), Dey and Watson one each.

The above success makes the tourists’ eighth win in eight matches played.

APPEAL FOR RETURN.

Deceived July 23, 11.15 n.m. SYDNEY, July 23. While the New' Zealand hockey team w'ere playing against the Tweed District, their pocket badges were removed from their blazers hanging in the dressing room. The manager (Mr Gracie) has made an appeal for the return of the badges, which he said were of great sentimental value to the players. Money and other valuables left in the clothes of the players were not touched.
