The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report on the clearing sale held on account of Mr E. AVoodruffe, Awahuri, ns follows: —The herd came forward in first-class condition, and ns the individual records for tlio past throe seasons were available, bidding was very free; for outstanding cows high prices were, paid, values ranging from £l3 to £l4 10s. The herd, excluding unsound and empty cows, averaged £9 17s fid: best July ealvers, £ll, £l2, £l2 10s, £l3, £l4, £l4 10s; oilier July ealvers, £7, £8 lo £10; lop August ealvers. £lO 10s. £ll, £ll 10s, to £l3; others, £6, £6 10s, £7 (o £9 ss; .September ealvers, £5. £5 15s, £8 to £11; late ealvers, £5 to £9 10s; in-calf heifers, £8 11s; breeding sows, £3 to £4; store pigs, 20s 6d.
