The last of. tlie recent series of depressions is moving slowly eastwards off the Dominion and an anti-cyclone is approaching across the north Tasman Sea. Pressure remains high, however, at Chatham Island. Forecast: Light to moderate i southerly winds, freshening at times in some exposed positions. Weather cloudy to overcast with scattered rain, hut gradually improving. Temperatures cool. Seas moderate to rather rough. RIVER GAUGE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. Noon. —3ft. 3in.
