Unusually small yardings in all sections were offered at Stortford Lodge to-day, the outstanding feature being the selling of fat cattle which showed a phenomena rise to false price levels. Entries showed a general rise of 30s to 35s a head. Ux beef made 40s a. hundred pounds, cows 30s heifers 365, and secondary quality cow's 255. AH sorts, including the poorest quality, were readily sought. Store cattie were not penned. The store sheep consisted chieflv of breeding ewes which maintained last week’s improved rates.
