WEEKLY SHOOT. The weekly shoot of the Palmerston North (Linton) Miniature Rifle Club was held on Tuesday evening, about -10 members participating. In the handicap sweepstakes, scored in conjunction with the second shoot of seven rounds, four members tied with scores of 09, as follow: —V. Goldfinch (7), R. F. Wakefield (2). A. Barnard (scr) and W. Pascoe (8). The count-back resulted in Wakefield being declared the winner. A competition will be held in conjunction with next week’s shoot, the prize being donated by Mr V. Goldfinch.
