Leaders and runners-up in the junior competition will bo scon on the oval the Showgrounds on Saturday in the mam match of tho club Rugby in the Manawatu, as there will bo no senior matches in view of the representative fixtures, lhe junior competition ends on Saturday, but arrangements are now being made for the Subsidiary competition. Old Boys, with 24 championship points to their credit, will be meeting St. Patrick’s, who are three points behind tho (gaffers. The best of tho junior grade will thus bo before tho public and it should bo interesting for many to see the standard set in the junior section, from whicli tho senior and representative players aro to come for . future years. Massey College and Feilding Old Boys will iricot on. tho No. 3 ground, and on the No. 2 ground Kia Toa and Jackeytown juniors will be opposed. . • * Away from home, tho senior representatives will meet Hawke’s- Bay at Napier and the second representative side will be opposed to the Oroua Sub-Union’s best team at ICimbolton, the Wallace Cup being at stake. Tho trophy is at present held by Manawatu.
