PAIIIATUA, Juyl 21. Mr A. Campbell, of Eketahuna, presided over the annual meeting of tho Bush Cooperative Herd Testing Association yestorday. The chairman stated that 4567 cows, had been tested under the group and 106 under the “own samples” system. A complete change of staff had involved considerable time and expense in canvassing, lie said thero would be an increase in testing foes. Mr Campbell stated that Messrs ,T. R. Unwin and H. V. BeU would be available as testing officers. The committee elected was: VVoodvillo district, Messrs R. C. Leach. R. H. Morgan, and G. A. Davidson; PaJiiatua, Messrs G. U. Brown, \y Fulton, and R. L. Parker; Eketahuna, Messrs A. Campbell, T. F. Edge 'and R. Farrow. Messrs Brown and Parker were appointed to the financo committee. The following have been selected to represent tho Bush Hockey Association in matches against Wairarapa:—A team, Misses F. Ngature, M. Burgess, A. Dick, I Spring. P. Ryan, Z. Elliott, R. Nga- ' turc. J. Ryan, D. Dick, I. Cavanagh and E Wonham. B team, Misses M. Chambers. A. Lawrence, M. Payne, P. Thorby, R. Russell, P. Burgess, M. Keith, Mrs Stewart, Misses J. Elliott, K. Larsen, and M. Sigvortsen. Emergencies, Misses M. Fauvel, B. Drysdale, Z. Jaspers. The total scores recorded at the shoot for the Bvrne Shield, when the Konini Miniatruo Rifle Club visited Mangamutu and Hukanui met, Mangatainoka, wero as follow: —Mangamutu 926, Konini 880, Hukanui 890. Mangatainoko 888. The following arc the results of games played under the aegis of the Bush Basketball Association:—Seniors, Konini boat, Rovers, 17—14: Waratabs boat Swifts, 18—11; Athletic a bye. Juniors, Papatawa beat Athletic A. 24—10; Woodvillo heat Ngawapurua, 19—10. Invitations were received at a meeting of the committee from Mnnawatu to a fournamont between Levin, Napier, Wanganui, and Manawatu senior A nnd B representative teams, and it, was decided to compete. A letter inviting Bush to Masterton to play a game with the. Wairarapa representatives was rend, and the eominitleo decided to ask Wairarapa to visit, Bush.
