Al AN AW ATU-OROUA BRANCH. The report to be .presented at the annual meeting of the Alanawatu-Oroua branch of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association states that every aspect of the pig industry has again been carefully watched and full co-operation given to the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association. “Branch prizes.—'Pile Tamworth trophy has been won by Mr C. S. Hunt and the Berkshire by the Cheltenham Co-op. Dairy Company. Last year the latter cup was won outright but lias been kindly replaced by this company. Congratulations arc extended to both these winners. Show exhibit: As usual, the branch combined with the Recording Club in an exhibit at the Winter Show, and the branch’s thanks are due to Air Nielsen for his untiring efforts in arranging the various displays Branch sales: Two sales were held during the year. All pigs offered at sales were inspected in accordance with the usual custom of protecting buyers’ interests.
