Cowie, Dunning, Vivian, Moloney, Kerr, and Tindill are resting for the Test and are not playing. Roberts is included; but is unlikely to bowl because of a stiff shoulder. The side is completed by the inclusion of W. H. Biekley, the New Zenland journalist, who is covering the tour lor the United Press Association.

The Scotland team is Tod, Gibb, Anderson, Farquhar, Heggie, McTavish, Melville, Paris, Smith, Stevenson, and Cliffe. • .. Hadlee was aggressive, ofl-drivmg and hooking in fine style.
