AAIONG AVORLD’S BEST. SIR AVAL HUNT’S VIEAV. “Owing to conditions differing so much in different countries, it is difficult to compare fanning conditions in New Zealand with those elsewhere, but, when all conditions are taken into account, I think the New Zealand farmers arc very nearly, if not quite, the best in the world,” said Sir AYilliam Hunt, chairman and managing-director of AVright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., in an interview in Wellington yesterday. “Their achievements in liiaking a comparatively small and isolated country the world’s largest exporter of dairy produce, mutton and lamb and crossbred wool are outstanding. “I do not mean to say that New Zealand farmers are 100 per cent, perfect. Anyone who knows the difference between the work of our best farmers and our average or worst, knows this is not the case, but what I do say is that our poor and average farmers in New Zealand have more to learn from our best farmers than they have to learn from the farmers of any other country.”
