CLEARING SALE.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report holding a highly successful sale of dairy cows, heifers, hay, chaff, implements, etc., on bohalf of Mr A. Orr, Aokautero:—The herd, which was undoubtedly one of the choicest offered by us this season, came forward in excellent condition. Calving dates along with butterfat production were supplied with each cow and the sale right from the Outset showed indications of being practically a record for the district for a grade heid. The complete herd averaged £lO, with quite a large percentage of the cows selling at from £l2 to £l4 ss, the latter being the top price of the sale. Springing heifers also sold readily, going as high as £l2 15s. A large quantity of hay, chaff, mangels, etc., also sold readily as did a wide range of implements.
