The Bishop of Sluibat, who was injured in the dash yesterday between the police and Orthodox Church supporters, lias been sent to hospital with concussion and a fractured skull. A motor car full of priests careered the streets shouting “Plicy’ve killed our bishop.” The police pursued them, but were outdistanced and contented themselves with dispersing the crowds round the cathedral. Tlve Skupshtina (Lower House) has resumed its discussion of the Concordat. The Government declined to allow mob action to influence it. Orthodox Church supporters regard the Concordat as virtually ratified and have ordered black flags to be flown.
