FIRST TEST’S EFFECT

Radio and modern transport set a problem for the Manawatu Rugby Union’s management committee at its weekly meeting, last evening, when a request was received from the Southland Rugby Union that their touring team plav the Manawatu team on the Friday "or Monday, August 13 or 16, and not on August 14, which was originally fixed —but which is the Rate of the first Test between the New.
