Lighter blues, with black or navy, are being worn in Paris. They are vivid in tone, such as royal or cornflower blue, with softer ones such as linen or hyacinth, and some turquoise. Kntire sports suits are sometimes made in these lighter blues. Chanel makes a wide-skirted white organdie gown embroidered in large black flowers, and having a wide fitted black taffeta ribbon gir*e, with long sa=h streamers in a slightly peasant effect. Tulle and wide taffeta ribbon dresses include a black full-skirted model, with radiating vertical bands alternately of tullo and taffeta.
