WOODVILLE.
WOODVILLE, July 19. A number of Woodville golfers participated in the Tapuata Club’s tournament during the week-end, W. J. Goodwin putting up a good performance to finish runner-up to L. A. Reid, of Waipukurnn, in the championship final. Goodwin also won the competition for the best gross score. Reid losing on the count back. J. Lagor with 86—16—70 won the competition for the best net score.
