OBITUARY.
MR WILLIAM WISEMAN
The death has occurred, after a short illness, of Mr William Wiseman, who had been in business in Palmerston North for over 20 yea re. The deceased gentleman, who was 56 years of age, had not enjoyed robust health for. some time, and he went to New Plymouth recently on a health-recruiting holiday. While there, however, he contracted a severe attack of pneumonia and pa-ssed away. Mr Wiseman was born at Eldreth, Yorkshire, and came to New Zealand 25 years ago. He liad practically always since then lived in Palmerston North, and although of a retiring disposition, took an interest in all movements for the city’s progress. His kindly and cheerful Christian nature won him a circle of friends who will regret his passing, and will extend sympathy to the bereaved widow.
