FASCIST SALUTE.
■/ TENOR SHOCKS SYDNEY. SYDNEY, July 19. Aldermen of the Sydney City Counoil expressed indignation at the action of the Italian tenor Tito Schipa, in giving the Fascist salute while the National Anthem was being sung at the end of his concerts in the city at the town hall. , , Alderman Donald Grant, who declared he had received many complaints, said a foreign singer should realise lie came here -as an artist anu not as a political propagandist. The Lord Mayor (Alderman Howie) warned entrepreneurs that the town hall would not be hired if public susceptibilities were offended in this manner.
