(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, July 17. The monthly meeting of the Bulls Town Boa ril was held on Thursday evening, Mr J. E. Walker presiding. The foreman, Mr S. Howard, reported on tho work done for the month. Mr J. A. Cornfoot asked to be all owed to erect a fence on the cliff side of Cemetery Road for plantation purposes.—Granted. The Medical Officer of Health inquired if the board was willing to have rogultafions made under the Health Act, governing hairdressers’ premises, made applicable to its area. —Agreed to. The Minister of Internal Affairs notified that Arbor Day celebrations would be bold on August 11.—Referred to the School Committee. It was reported that there were now over 50 subscribers to the public lubrary and it was resolved to instal an electric radiator. It was resolved to donate five guineas to the King George V. Memorial Fund. The works committee for the enusing month is Messrs Amon, Edwards and Holland.

The Rangitikei Ladies’ Golf Club’s recent bogey competition was won by Miss Ivilgour-Carter. Tlie eclectic competition was won by Miss M. McKenzie (net 40), the next best cards being Mrs M. Wilson (net 41), and Miss Willis (net 42).
