MILSON.
(From • Our Own Correspondent.) MILSON, July 19. There was a large attendance at a social and dance held in the hall, when the Milson Table Tennis Club held a gathering in aid of the club funds. Dancing, interspersed with musical items, was a feature, the duties of M.C. being carried out by Mr F. Bulmar. Items were rendered bv the following Highland sword dance, Marie Hay and Ruth McDowell; skipping dance, Shirley Henderson; tap duo, Patricia Dale and Neil Bruce; the accompaniments were played by Miss .Tuns Scott; mouth-organ solo, Gordon Thompson: e’ncutionary item, Miss Julie Kendrick. Music for the dance extras was supplied by Mr R. Pritchard and Miss L. Gore. Mrs R. Britton, of Frankton Junction, a former resident, is at present on a holiday visit hero and is staying with Mrs O. Oliver, of Carlisle Street. Mr F. Griggs, of Mnsterton. and Mr IT. Dewhurst. of Otahuhu, were week-end visitors to Milson.
