STRUCK BY CAR.
MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. Per Press Association. NAPIER, July 18. Struck by a car on tbe Napier-Hast-ings main highway on Saturday evening, Thomas Humphries, of Bay View, is now lying in the Memorial Hospital at Hastings in a dangerous condition. Walking along the road, he was caught by a car driven by Douglas Petrowski, of Hastings, sustaining a fractured skull. It was raining at tbe time.
