DOMINI ON CHAMP! ONSIiIPS. Per Press Association. MASTERTON, July 18. The New Zealand field dog trials championships resulted as follow; Land.—A. Marker’s (Christchurch) Labrador retriever 1; P. C. Crooke’s (Christchurch) Curly retriever 2; G. F. Bikett’s (Mastcrton) Irish setter 3. Water. —L. M. Mcßae s (Christchurch! springer spaniel 1; P.. C. Crooke’s curly retriever and 0. Mallard’s (Christchurch) curly retriever, equal, 2. Gun dog.—A. Marker s Labrador retrieve)', 1; P. C. Crooke’s curly re2; L. M. Mcßae’s springer spaniel 3. _ Setter and pointer.—G. A. Dunlop s (Hastings) English setter 1; R. Searle s (Lower Hutt) English setter 2; G. F. Birlcett’s Irish setter 3. L. M. Mcßae gained first and second with his springer spaniel in the spaniel trial, novice. The water championship was won by W. H. Trengrove (Featherston) with bis Irish setter, and the novice water championship by J. M. Coffee’s (Christchurch) Irish water spaniel.
